With Christmas right around the corner every card blogger is gearing up for their “Merry Christmas” post before going into a mini-vacation. What better way for me to go out than with this Upper Deck card featuring Ken Griffey Jr. in a Santa Claus hat. This item went up on eBay for $150 and ended with zero bids. If you are in the giving spirit, it’s now back for $129.
In case you have been living under a rock, there are a lot of updates to this card. For starters, Ken Griffey Jr. is now retired (thank God!), Upper Deck is out of the baseball card business after losing their MLB license, and the only place you will find licensed Ken Griffey Jr. licensed baseball cards is in 2012 Topps products.
